Next week, on September 20th, the entire draft Zoning Code and Map will be released to the community for review and comment. On that day, the website (rochesterzap.com) will be updated to include the full draft Code, draft Map (pdf and online interactive versions) and the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS); and, hard copies will be delivered to libraries and NSC offices. The DGEIS discusses the need for the proposed Code and Map, a description and rationale for what is being proposed, and potential impacts and mitigation of those impacts. A list of public meetings over the next few months will also be posted. The public comment period will remain open through January 31, 2024. Your interest and participation in this project continues to be appreciated.
[Please note that the “3rd batch” of code is not being separately released as previously indicated. Instead, releasing the 3rd batch along with the entire code with its revisions of the 1st and 2nd batches enables cross referencing among all the most current sections, which seems critical at this stage of review.]
