Next week, on September 20th, the entire draft Zoning Code and Map will be released to the community for review and comment. On that day, the website ( will be updated to include the full draft Code, draft Map (pdf and online interactive versions) and the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS); and, hard copies will be delivered to libraries and NSC offices. The DGEIS discusses the need for the proposed Code and Map, a description and rationale for what is being proposed, and potential impacts and mitigation of those impacts. A list of public meetings over the next few months will also be posted. The public comment period will remain open through January 31, 2024.
