The City of Rochester Zoning Alignment Project (ZAP) Team invites you to join us for a virtual meeting where you can participate in a discussion on the newly-released 2nd batch of draft Zoning Code. Webinars are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • June 14, 2022. To register, click here.
  • June 20, 2022. To register, click here.

Both webinars are identical so you only need to attend one, if you are interested. Attendance is limited and if we have overwhelming interest we will schedule a third meeting.

If you do not have access to a computer or cell phone, the following library branches are open in the evening to use the computers:

  • Arnett Branch
  • Central Library, Technology Center (June 20, only)
  • Maplewood Branch (open until 6:30)
  • Monroe Branch (June 20, only)
  • Phillis Wheatley (June 20, only)

The 2nd batch of draft Zoning Code, released this week, follows the 1st batch released on January 31st.  The January release included the draft Zoning Map, the draft Use Table, and the draft Use Standards. The 2nd  batch includes the draft District Regulations and Design Standards along with General Development Standards, Accessory Structures, and some Definitions and Rules of Measurement. To review any of the draft Code that has been released to date and the draft Map, please click here to go to the ZAP Website. The 3rd and final batch of draft Code will be released in the fall of 2022.

The input of the community is an important part of drafting the Zoning Code and we look forward to hearing from you.  To leave a comment on any of the information posted on the website, please fill out the comment form.
